Since its establishment in 1950, our nursery has proudly dedicated itself to cultivating a diverse range of perennials and pelargonium's. With over seven decades of experience, we have curated a collection that stands out for its resilience and uniqueness, appealing to both seasoned gardeners and novice enthusiasts alike. Not to mention our Tree fern importation business for 20+ year's.
We operate strictly by appointment only, as our team is not always present onsite to assist you. Our business hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Please contact us in advance to schedule your visit. We understand that your time is valuable, and we want to make sure we are onsite.
Lyndon Osborn
Nurseryman - Landscaper
A Kiwi by birth, Lyndon started his career working with various environmental agencies in New Zealand. After moving to the UK over thirty years ago, Lyndon has become an accomplished nurseryman and landscaper, working with a number of renowned garden designers, on a wide variety of projects.
Lyndon has built up Leahurst Nurseries, a wonderful, eclectic boutique nursery, in North London. Described as a ‘hidden gem’, the nursery has existed on its current site for over sixty-five years. Lyndon and his family run the nursery, offering a peaceful and relaxed environment for visitors. The nursery stocks a diverse and eclectic range of plants. What has always been recognised by customers is that Leahurst Nurseries is the providence of most of the plants - grown and sold locally in London. These plants make the nursery, as well as Lyndon’s stall at the renowned Columbia Road Flower Market, a must see for true plant enthusiasts.

What we stand for!
Here at Leahurst Nurseries, we pride ourselves in our environmentally friendly horticultural practises
We believe that the use of finite resource's of professional growing medium like Peat is a thing of the past, that's why we use ICL coconut based medium.
In accordance with DEFRA we monitor all plant's coming in and out of the nursery to prevent the spread of pest/diseases.
We do not feed or spray our plant's with growth hormones or fertiliser's, everything grow on our nursery comes from the pure power of mother earth.
